Through this Sound Pact, we are individually and collectively committed to achieving excellence in the quality of care and services for all those served by diagnostics and therapeutic ultrasonology. I am united with other practitioners across the nation in a single voice that articulates our commitment to those we serve everyday. I pledge my organization’s support to the Sound Pact principles.

Sound Pact is a commitment by those involved in the use of ultrasound in health care to demonstrate their high level of quality and ethical use of the modality in their clinical practice. Sound Pact is a nationwide, publicly articulated pledge on the part of these multidisciplinary professionals to establish and uphold quality and ethical standards.
Signing of the Sound Pact is voluntary. Health care practitioners and other professionals who pledge to this commitment agree to uphold core principles in order to demonstrate professional excellence and social consciousness in the use of ultrasound in their respective disciplines insofar as patient care is involved.
